Thinking of Heroes on Memorial Day

I am very honored and humbled to be named a Social Advocate for the American Red Cross Northern Region. Obviously, the Red Cross does so much good work throughout both the country and entire world, it would be one incredibly long blog post to cover all of it. It is organizations such as this that I am proud to align with and hope to have a long relationship with going forward. I am more than happy to help spread the word of all the wonderful work they do.

On June 5, 2014 at 7:00am, the Red Cross will hold a Heroes Breakfast for those who have been named their 2014 heroes. This past Wednesday, I had the great opportunity to attend a Meet and Greet with Ang at the American Red Cross Northern Region headquarters, along with the other Social Advocates, to meet this year’s heroes and they are an impressive group of people. The example they set and the courage they show in times of adversity is truly inspiring.

For a full listing of the 2014 Heroes Breakfast Honorees, check them out here.

Please consider attending the Heroes Breakfast to help honor these amazing people. Each and every one of them is more than deserving of this recognition. Personally, I simply cannot wait to be in their presence again and, in my own small way, honor them for their heroism, example and love for their fellow man.

I can’t wait to write another post after attending the Heroes Breakfast and I am truly humbled to have met the Honorees Wednesday, to be in their company again at the Heroes Breakfast and to be involved with the Red Cross.
